Aluminum does not have the same fatigue endurance limit as steel: unlike steel, it can weaken under repeated cyclic loading over time. This 3/8" aluminum drain plate is designed and rated for pedestrian traffic only (entryways, patios, walkways, light-duty areas). It is not designed or warrantied for repeated vehicle traffic.
